exactlly, I can confirm the sailor at sea thing. Then throw in some mechanical problems. Evaps go down (no water= no showers & laundry), Main generator wipes a bearing (critical electrical use only=no AC) Boilers go down (no steam=sliders and fries for chow) (rough seas=damn no fries) I can go on and on
Sliders are not sooo bad... Better than the Beef Yakisoba! Yuk...

I'll tell you what was de-moralizing... When we loaded an entire shipment of beef that was stamped "rejected by the Mississippi Prison System". Not good enough for the cons, so they gave it to the sailors. It was actually grade 'C' beef. I never even knew it exsisted...
