The flag stands for Freedom and Justice for all. The ideal this country was founded on. Sure this country does a lot of things that is contrary to that ideal, but that does not change the ideal the flag stands for. We are not a perfect nation sir, but we are a damn fine one, founded on the finest of principles. And it is those principles which the flag stands for, nothing more, nothing less. To try to say otherwise is ignorance. An ignorance afforded to you by the flag! |
