As I have never experienced dealing with this issue personally it is difficult for me to completely understand the issue. However, I feel that one of the main problems with society is the number of pre-marital pregnancies that are actually occuring. The girl that is 13 the walks in to get an abortion should never have gotten pregnant in the first place. There are adequate methods of birth control availiable. Years ago, society viewed pre-marital birth with disgust. However over the years we have come to gradually accept it, this is the main problem that we should be focusing on. Abortions should not be permitted unless under certain conditions (rape, incest, etc..), not only because you are ending a human life but also because it will act as a deterrent for getting pregnant in the first place. No matter what anyone says, the embryo is an innocent life unable to defend itself. We need to set up protections for unborn children, so that they too will be able to have a fair chance in life. \"I did not have sexual relations with that woman\"
