I suppose diversity isn't something you think the flag stands for...
I agree with you. And The flag does stand for diversity. But this is one area where I am most definately an extremeist. I see an attack on my flag as an attack on my country, which I will remind you I am SWORN to defend.
Way to keep things in perspective.
How did I go out of perspective?
The flag stands for as much injustice as it does liberty and freedom. When you defend it you are also defending that injustice. To have such an extreme view about a situation like that is to loose perspective in my opinion.
Nothing can be perfect, no human, animal, rock, tree, car, tire and especially not a country. The flag does not stand for the government or the injustices that YOU think this governments put us through everyday but it stands for the ideals on which the government is founded. hevusa if you hate this country and government sooo much i really dont understand why you dont move to another country... they all have flags in other coutries too. all other countries has issues, plenty of issues that are way more severe than ours.
