Martin Luther King was killed for opposing people like him. The difference is, and it's as true in the UK as in the US, racism is acceptable as long as it's anti-white, and the joke of it is, at least over here, most of the people who support that view are white people who won't speak out against black racists because they are afraid of being called racist themselves if they do.
