Argue the point. Please........

For once I was actually supporting the idea of a woman's right to choose. Read the post. If it is her body and her right to choose, when it comes to having a baby why are there dead beat dad laws??? Her body, her choice.

If we insist on keeping the dead beat dad laws, then should not a man have the right in making the choice???? It is a valid question. If the answer is no, then laws for dead beat dads are not needed and only server to punish the male in society correct????

dmk

I will call you a damn nazi anytime you try to take away the right for people to have domain over their own body.

America is about personal freedom... not for those that think like sarge to decide over those that don't think like sarge.

THAT IS NAZI!

Both a mother and father can decide over their own bodies... the father when he leaves sperm and the mother thereafter.
Just another angle to impose your love for the invisible man. It is freaking sickening. Hitler used religion in a very similiar fashion.

Morality is not contingent on religion to exist. Therefore religion only detracts from the purity of morality.

Don't you think that may be a slight exaggeration??

It's not clear you understand the basic tenets of Nazism and I don't think you should throw the name at anyone with whom you happen to lose your temper.

In any case by the time a woman becomes pregnant she has to consider the baby's body and the baby's life, as well as her own.

Why do I get the feeling that if someone other than a moderator posted that, they would get an infraction?

What makes you think they would? I've seen several posters here (non-mods) post similar comments and not get an infraction...So why should it be different for a moderator to be infracted when they're responding as a member, not a moderator?

You really need to learn to seperate the two roles that those in the position of moderator are in. Just because they're a moderator doesn't mean they can't respond to another poster as a poster themselves.

Hev may be a moderator, but first and foremost he is a MEMER of this site. And unless he's posting 'I'm a moderator so I'm saying this/that', you shouldn't be confusing each and every post he makes as a member as being something being said in a moderator stance.

No where in the post that you're complaining about, does Hev make mention that he's saying what he's saying in the capasity of his moderator status. He's simply saying he is and can say it. As a member participating in the thread. Period.

That's the point Ali. A regular member would probably had gotten an infraction for calling somebody a Nazi.

And I'm telling you that you have no proof of that claim PN. There have been plenty of posters who have called others 'nazi' and not been banned for doing so. 'Would probally' isn't a fact. That's an assumption and a false assumption as well.

You are only attaching your personal feelings of ill-will against Hev, and using the fact that he's a moderator to influence others into thinking so. When you have absolutely NO reason to base that assumption on in the first place.

Get over the fact he's a moderator. And learn to seperate his position as such, in regards to his participation here as a member. Just like any other member who's called another member a 'nazi' and they weren't banned/infracted, neither should Hev be banned/infracted simply because in other areas he has to act in the moderator capasity.

The fact is, it isn't Hev hiding behind his position as a moderator. It's you trying to make him hide behind his position as a moderator in order to limit his ability to post here as a member like the rest of us.

So you think it's ok to call someone a Nazi, but calling someone an innocuous fairy-tale name like Tinkerbelle, for example, deserves an infraction?

That is exactly the point!! I can't believe you got an infraction for calling Tristan "tinkerbelle." Hell, he's even got tinkerbelle flying around on the bottom of all his messages.

I really doubt Gary got an infraction for that PN. And I find it amusing that you're willing to bet the farm on Gary's spin, when Gary posts abusive posts consistantly without reverting to name calling towards others.

Gary's been banned for his actions towards others on the board, from what I've seen. Not for any 'name-calling', but because of his nature to be abusive, accusatory, and generally off-topic in just about every thread he posts in.

Stop getting your panties in a bunch over the fact that Hev is a moderator, is my best suggestion to you.
