And I'd add that a real man doesn't penalize his children by withholding financial support from them because of his lack of an ability to have a good relationship with his ex-wife.

But shouldn't women, who will bear the brunt of the gestation, and presumed child rearing, make sure the man they are boinking is worthy of impregnating her. It's amazing some of the guys I see that have several kids by several women. If I were a woman, there would have been NO WAY that I would touch a guy like that.

Especially when you can see guys like that from miles away.

Just like you know a smoking, tattooed, bleach blonde is probably not someone you would want to mother your children.

Knowing that a man may place such a small amount of thought behind sex, you would think it would behoove women to put a little more thought into who they sleep with. No sex before marriage, and no marriage to a guy who can't support himself, let alone a family.

People always say that marriage and famly is in a decline. The ideas behind both are as strong and valid as they ever have been, it's the people that are going to crap. It seems to be a worldwide problem.

Also true!

Equality or not, its the women who is always left holding the baby, and it's the woman who has to make better choices than most men do.

I need to start a new thread about this subject

"Why women make bad choices about men - and then repeat them!"

It doesn't only happen with women who make bad choices about who will father their children, but also when women choose abusive husbands.

It works both ways

Real women don't try to hijack children from their fathers - keep things quiet and hope he doesn't find out.

Women can be far more controlling than men but in different ways.
