I have fathered two wonderful children and was at my wife's side throughout both pregnancies and both births.

So I have a lot of experience in the subject, albeit from a male perspective - something YOU will never know or understand.

And I also can rise above the pain and sacrifice and inconvenience to see the wonder of childbirth.

Seems like you haven't yet managed that last part yet.

WOW! You really are threatened by women! You think that the fact that my husband recognizes the inherent discomfort and sacrifice a pregnant woman makes, makes him a 'pussy'?

Honey, get some therapy!

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I think it's your husband who needs the therapy.

My wife didn't try to make me feel guilty every second she was pregnant, and she doesn't screw around with a "toyboy".

Sad you can't see how blessed you were.

Sad you can't see that some blessings come at a price.

I already mentioned the price several times - aren't you reading?

If you asking if I wish I was a woman, the answer is no, I'm very happy being a man.

That doesn't mean I can't marvel at the wonders of childbearing and reproduction.

In what way am I not viewing the wonder of childbirth realistically?

My husband is fine, thank you. He doesn't feel the need to live on the internet complaining that woman don't see gestation and childbirth the way HE does.

My wife didn't try to make me feel guilty every second she was pregnant,

As I said, I couldn't have made my husband feel guilty if I had tried. Which, BTW, since continuing the pregnancy was MY decision, I never felt the need to.

and she doesn't screw around with a "toyboy".

Boytoy gary. Boytoy. And how the hell would YOU know?

Yup. And if you honestly recognized and accepted the price, and weren't just giving it lip service' you would HAVE to leave the decision of whether or not to continue a pregnancy where it belongs, instead of wanting to force women to conform to what YOU believe.

Calling it a 'wonder' for one thing. Look up what 'wonder' actually means. Then ask a woman who's done it a time or two. But be prepared for laughter.

How sad you consider one of God's greatest gift to be "claptrap". Your cynicism is depressing.
I didn't say pregnancy/childbirth was "claptrap". The claptrap is your blathering about what a gift, how beautiful, how wonderful, how worthwhile, ....all the while your sum total of understanding about it is standing by your wife's side. You haven't a clue of how much you don't know.

LOL! I bet your one of those men who say 'We're pregnant".

So I have a lot of experience in the subject,

You have a lot of experience in WATCHING the subject. I have a lot of experience in watching TV. Doesn't make me a TV.

albeit from a male perspective - something YOU will never know or understand.

I will never know or understand the perspective of a goldfish in regards to a womans pregnancy.

And I also can rise above the pain and sacrifice and inconvenience to see the wonder of childbirth.

ROTFLMAO! Well OF COURSE YOU CAN! YOU don't experience the pain and sacrifice and inconvenience!

Seems like you haven't yet managed that last part yet.
I don't have to dear. I've been there and done that for REAL! It's just a tad different than being an interested observer. Sorta like the difference between the Pacific Ocean and the puddle next to my driveway!

*I* can certainly rise above the pain of being kicked in the balls! WHY CAN'T MEN?

We're struggling to see the similarity between being kicked in the balls and the gift of childbearing and giving birth to a new life.

Perhaps you could enlighten us?

It's also eminently possible to rise above something that you HAVE experienced - whether its being kicked in the balls or childbirth.

Do you ever stop trying to inflict your insecurity and pent up guilt on other people??

Sure. One can only be truly experienced by women, the other by men.

It's also eminently possible to rise above something that you HAVE experienced - whether its being kicked in the balls or childbirth.

Why do you feel the need to 'rise above it'. It's what it is. An experience. You take it or leave it. There's no above or under.

Do you ever stop trying to inflict your insecurity and pent up guilt on other people??
LOL. Projection is such a silly thing.
