| Neb, I am a liberal and I do not think woman are property. Liberalism has nothing to do with this so please don't compare here. Thanks. Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong. ~Richard Armour There are many men of principle in both parties in America, but there is no party of principle. ~Alexis de Tocqueville | |||||||||||||||||||||

| If we outlawed abortions crime would go back up. I just read an interesting book about this and will try to post some quotes from it later. | I remember seeing a poll on Fox news that the support of Abortion has dropped to only 52% which is a huge decrease from a decade or so ago. All I can say is were making progress. | A poll on Fox... Wow, that is a very trustworthy source. It's not like Fox has any sort of ulterior, right wing biased motives, after all... Anyway, if the government stopped with this whole "Abstinence Education" BS, there would be fewer abortions. Instead of illegalizing abortions, we should be trying to reduce demand. If we illegalize them, and people still want to have them, nothing changes, except things are much, much less safe. | |||||||||||||||||||||

If the couple would try protescted sex, abstenice, or taking responsiblity than there would be no need for abortions at all. If someone wants to risk their life getting an unlawful abortion than I would have absolutely no sympathy for them. The quicker we end this travesty that better off we will be. Not to but in the middle of this, but this web-site has a variety of abortion issue polls. Kind of a polling summary web-site. Most have a variety of possible stances... Not sure if this helps anybody... http://www.pollingreport.com/abortion.htm | ||||||||||||||||||||||

Great polls. It really seems that America is pretty liberal towards it's views on abortion. And the majority women in this country probably have a lot to do with it. --- help me Instant Runoff Voting, you're my only hope --- "There is no such thing as laziness. I think Hev's link is pretty comprehensive. I generally consider polls to be unreliable, since they are easily manipulated. Quote:
