But an abortion is the killing of a life that has done nothing to harm anyone and is the result of the actions of the mother.

A murderer is responsible for his own actions. Your comparison of a murderer to a fetus is scary.

I claim to be "pro-life" as it refers to a fetus. And if a man is coming into my window, I'm pro-my-life. And if someone kills my wife, I'm pro-her-life by being pro-electric chair.

I would like to add that I am against a police officer killing people for what is becoming less and less justified reasons. If you sneeze it seems the police can shoot you now.

And again... you are selectively pro life, not pro life. Putting limitations on which life is valuable demeans the term "Pro-Life".

"Selectively pro life" or "pro innocent life" whatever you want to call it. "Killing is still not killing, and a fetus is in no way comparable to a murderer. Although a doctor performing an abortion could be considered a murderer though.

Not if he is contained for taking another innocent life with malice and forethought. In fact the doctor has much more in common with the criminal than the state in that the doctor is killing an innocent victim, while the murderer is for all intents and purposes guilty.

Well then don't call abortion murder or abortion doctors murderers and I won't call capital punishment murder. Support for either however is still short of being "pro-life".

Cool, I'll call him a perpetrator of premeditated feticide. And not the pigeon holed "legal" definition brought about by RvW. Cause we both know that's the only reason that caveat is there legally.
