I think it's a bit pompous of Americans to believe that God gave them certain rights but witheld them from other countries!

Other countries might well look down on Americans for the rights God DIDN'T give them - like the right to health care for example!

Pn, I'm not stating my belilef in God giving me rights. I'm quoting the Declaration of Independence. I don't believe in a God looking down on us and moving us around like chess pieces.

Perhaps, but we certainly haven't mastered pompous snobbery like the Brits have!

Hey, PN, I think I speak for everyone when I ask:

When are you going to get that stick out of your ass?

Funny you would bring up the chess board analogy. America is indeed just like one in terms of individual rights. The more money you have, the powerful a chess piece you are. The analogy does fall short on pawns though. This is because the pawns of America represent the majority of Americans. The pawns also represent many levels of people. You certainly can't compare a poor ghetto black person to a white middle class suburbanite. The middle class guy has more rights than the crack mother of 13, but they are both pawns in the overall scheme of things.

Why do always resort to personal insults? That crack was for Gary anyway. Are you defending him now?

I seriously doubt you speak for everyone.

Guess again.

You've jumped all over EVERYBODY'S case lately, and even apologized here and there and admitted that you are stressed.

As for you're little gripe about personal insults, shall we go over your recent posts? Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.

I did apologize where it was warranted. You, on the other hand, deserve no such apology. Have you forgotten when you accused me of posting your personal information on the Yahoo board? I haven't forgotten. I couldn't care less where you live and certainly wouldn't post about it.

You have been nothing but a snot to me even when I've tried to be friendly. You think too much of yourself if you think you "speak for everybody."

Didn't ask for one.

I just consider the source.
