How can a fetus be a human being? How is a fetus even remotely like you or I? How can you compare it you or I, when it is vastly different?

 I do not see my point of view as selfish, I simply believe that women have the right to make reproductive choices, including abortion.

It clearly indicated that you didn't see the connection between human and fetus.

Religious beliefs?? I understood abortion to be murder long before I became a Christian. Thats like saying Im self centered and selfish for wanting thiefs to go to jail.

A fetus is not a human being...yet. It has the potential of becoming one. But until the brain has activitity it isn't alive.

Why not, women in other countries do it all the time. Our bodies aren't on a timetable. Socially, in this country, it may not be acceptable, but why wouldn't a girl who has passed puberty not be able to have a child?
