There are "children" that need adopting. But "healthy babies"? Not so much. A healthy white baby to adopt is highly in demand. And even getting a healthy black baby isn't as easy as you would think. Why do you think people are going to Russia, China, and other countries to get their adopted kids? And many countries are ending out of country adoptions or making them more difficult. So those people picketing are doing just fine.

Are they? Should they talk a girl at a clinic out of an abortion, are they going to adopt the child? What if it turns out that the child isn't 'racially pure', or has genetic problems?

I have a big problem with people who can only love a healthy infant. For one thing, infants don't stay infants. They get older. And they don't always stay healthy.

If the parents can only love a healthy infant, what are they going to do when the infant becomes a child, or develops health problems? Return it?

Sounds like you're back to social engineering. Why not give parents the option of aborting any unborn child if it has been diagnosed with possible health problems, or is the wrong sex or eye colour?

Thank God women don't run the world, see what happens when they get a tiny slice of power??

No, it isn't that easy, because apparently it is very, very hard to adopt a US baby. So whats the point of adoption when the child is likely going to overlooked for a third world baby?
Everyone nowadays is doing an Angelina - adopting all the poor African babies like the kid is a god damn fashion statement - it's like 'Screw all the Yank babies, I'm gittin myself a third world baby'. I wonder why people choose third world babies over the children in their own country?
Maybe they get lots of attention and praise for having such a good heart and compassion for the poor starving African babies? Or maybe they just want Angelina Jolie to personally congratulate them?

It's not just difficult to adopt a U.S. baby, there is just more demand than the supply can keep up with. People are stealing, selling and buying babies.

Terminations are an option for any reason that the woman sees fit, in the first trimester. And it isn't possible to know the details of hair color, eye color, etc until much later.
