Your provincial ignorance aside, Grace lied.
Right now America spends $700 billion every year on foreign oil. That's our money going overseas when it could be staying here. We have to stop this.

What BS.

So you would classify them as "hick towns"? You've never been to the "old west" portion of Alabama, haven't you?

Try going to Blountsville, AL. Or Pinson, AL. Or Remlap, AL. Or Hoover, AL. Or Decatur, AL.

You go to Tuscaloosa, and you might find a herd of elephants stampeding over you. Or you go to Auburn and you will find a fierce rivalry from the people of Tuscaloosa.

Go to Huntsville and you will see the astronauts train at the Marshall Space Flight Center there. Or go to Mobile and visit the convention center where I bowled 14 years ago. Also see the Gulf of Mexico there.

But there is one thing I like about Birmingham: it has one of the world's best medical schools, and the Vulcan Statue. Ain't no ham like Birmingham.

And oh yes: you will find Waffle Houses and Cracker Barrel restaurants there, too.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105

How can you separate a belief in God from your behaviour and your decisions?

Why do you think God should be constrained to a "personal inner experience" like some sort of fantasy figure

Or is this how you rationalise doing things which you know are against God's will?
First of all, religion is a personal experience, not the rule of law. People who choose to believe in something that cannot be proven, and then try to force their beliefs onto the rest of us are overstepping their bounds.

And I would not be so arrogant as to claim to know God's will. I leave people to make their own minds up about God, and live their lives according to their faith. That does not mean that they are the possessors of the only path to God or enlightenment, nor are they free to impose their version of their God's will onto others.

My behavior and my decisions are not for anyone else to control, unless I am breaking the secular laws of the land. My soul's condition is between me and my version of God. We should be allowed to be in charge of our own lives, make our own choices and learn from our own mistakes. You follow your free will, and I'll follow mine.

So that way her type of thinking will prevail, and there wont be anymore evil christians to try to stop there blood thirst.
That's right. Hopefully there will only be loving Christians, practicing what they preach and following the true teachings of Jesus. I'm not holding my breath though. Because if you haven't noticed, there are an awful lot of people claiming to be one thing, and acting like something else. I don't hate Christians Grace. I hate lies, deceit, greed, misery, poverty, injustice and suffering.
