According to the liberal standard, the answer is a resounding YES. Oh that's right, liberals only apply that standard to conservatives. Liberals, just have to say I am sorry and there past is their past, or lie and say, I didn't know the KKK was racist, I joined because it was anti-Communist.

Lott = Republican/Conservative
Gore JR = Democrat/Liberal.
If you are a Republican/Conservative, you can never ever ever ever forget you past, you are always and will always be held accountable.
If you are a Democrat/Liberal you only have to say I am sorry and appear teary eyed and all is forgiven.
