But we don't stand outside abortion clinics waving our banners of twelve week old fetus's. We don't harrass women who seek abortions. We don't call women baby killers like the pro life crowd do.
We don't rely on images and videos to make a point. We don't believe the Silent Scream video to be reliable. We don't believe all those photos of aborted fetus are actually aborted fetus's at all - rather. stillborns and miscarriages.

Pro choices are well aware of the sickening lengths pro lifers are willing to go to in order to push their agenda, even if it means taking a photo of a stillborn or miscarried fetus and passing it off as an abortion.

Our decisions take potential lives. Our decisions take fetus's, not babies.

SORRY you will not get it both way. If you support planned parenthood you are a RACIST. That is the fact based upon the standard.

There was never anything racist about Planned Parenthood. In the beginning it served women who asked for service. No one was ever forced to accept BC, and no one was turned away. The fact that the founder of PP had personal beliefs of eugenics does not mean that PP was used to promote them. Everyone must answer for his past deeds, once one is dead, they are buried with him.

Sanger created PP to help women who were burdened with too frequent childbearing. Of course, rich women already had access to BC. It was poor women who suffered from lack of knowledge.

No double standards.

It is quite simple.

Follow the bouncing ball.

Trent Lott humored an old man at his 100th Birthday, therefore he is a racist, because good ole Strom in his younger days was once a racist.

Al Gore Sr, was a segregationist, his son apoligized, therefore he is not a racist.

Lott = Republican/Conservative

Gore JR = Democrat/Liberal.

If you are a Republican/Conservative, you can never ever ever ever forget you past, you are always and will always be held accountable.

If you are a Democrat/Liberal you only have to say I am sorry and appear teary eyed and all is forgiven.

By the way, I still have that beach front property in Death Valley for sale!!!

dmk
being australian, i don't have any particular allegance to democrats or republicans, and i fail to see where i have used any double standards. in fact, my point was to illustrate the double standards used by grace initially, and now yourself.

you have argued that the founder of PP held eugenics ideals, therefore ALL people who support choice also hold eugenics ideals. this is JUST AS RIDICULOUS as saying the Bush family have nazi connections, therefore ALL people who voted for him are nazis.

you are trying to use the personal political views of ONE person in ONE organisation DECADES ago to smear a huge number of diverse people who agree on one ethical issue. this makes you look silly and more than a bit desperate. regardless of whether you are republican, democrat, anarchist or anything else.

keep your eyes on the issue, and the people supporting it today.

Why don't you try reading the woman's biography instead of just selected, out-of-context quotes on some rtl website?

"Birth Control which has been criticized as negative and destructive, is really the greatest and most truly eugenic method, and its adoption as part of the program of Eugenics would immediately give a concrete and realistic power to that science. . . as the most constructive and necessary of the means to racial health."
Tell me how this is take outta context? The bitch was as evil as Hitler himself.

"The danger to the community of the unsegregated feeble-minded woman is more evident. Most dangerous are the middle and high grades living at large who, despite the fact that their defect is not easily recognizable, should nevertheless be prevented from procreation. . . In my view we should act without delay."
Or how about this one Granny??? Yea, what a great person she was.

". . . we are paying for and even submitting to the dictates of an ever increasing, unceasingly spawning class of human beings who never should have been born at all, . .

Is this what we call reproductive freedom???

"To apply a stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is already tainted. . . to apportion farm lands and homesteads for these segregated persons where they would be taught to work under competent instructors for the period of their entire lives. . ."

Concentration camps, you people are applauding concentration camps. Is this what you call helping women Granny?
