If it's so important to you that the rest of us all pay for/care for these unwanted and abandoned babies, the least you could do is take in three or four of them. You know - walk the walk - or put your money where your mouth is - or any of the other cliches that spring to mind.

How many are you fostering right now, Grace? How many have you adopted? How many of these unwanted children that you would force to be born are you willing to raise and take care of?

Because until you are ready to raise them, you have no right to dictate that someone else gestate them, and you sure as hell have no right to condemn the child that you so claim to love to a life of being unwanted.

Hell, there are lots of gay couples out there that would love to adopt unwanted children, but the narrow-minded "religious right" won't let them. The "religious right" just wants the fetus to be born - they don't give much of a damn what happens to the child afterwards.

I'm sure there are numbers out there that you believe support your Chicken Littleism.
In April, the annual report of Planned Parenthood Federation of America revealed that the abortion giant had a total income of $1.02 billion—with reported profits of nearly $115 million. Taxpayers kick in more than $336 million worth of government grants and contracts at both the state and federal levels. That’s a third of Planned Parenthood’s budget.
And what market-distorting results do we get for those government incentives? 289,650 abortions in 2006.
Oil execs, tobacco execs, banking execs, pharmaceutical company execs, and baseball players have all been hauled up before Congress for highly-publicized whippings by crusading lawmakers. But the executives of Planned Parenthood have escaped government scrutiny and public accountability for their predatory behavior, dangerous medical practices, deception, and deadly windfall.
In Washington, D.C., the family of 13-year-old Shantese Butler filed a $50 million suit against Planned Parenthood after a botched abortion left the girl permanently injured and infertile. Students for Life of America reports that Shantese was left with “severe abdominal bleeding, severe vaginal injury, severe injury to the cervix, significant uterine perforation, and a small bowel tear.” In addition, parts of the unborn child were found inside Shantese’s abdomen.
In Nebraska, Planned Parenthood refused to disclose the terms of a settlement with another victim whose botched abortion resulted in a perforated uterus, massive blood loss, an emergency hysterectomy, permanent infertility, seizures, and lifelong pain and suffering. According to the suit obtained by Life News, the woman told the abortionist and his assistants to stop, but was told: “We can’t stop.” The Planned Parenthood employees held her down to complete the procedure.

Im not here to toot my own horn. You'd just call me a lier anyway. I know this though. People would have looked at the enviorment I was born and raised in and probably would have said I would have been better off dead from the start. And they would be very very wrong.

I'm guessing that translation is: "I haven't fostered or adopted any, so I'll try to shift the spotlight."

If you're serious about doing something about the problem of children born of unwanted pregnancies, instead of just bitching about it, I'd not only applaud you for putting your money where your mouth was, I'd also have a lot more respect for you (not that it would matter one iota about my feelings on being pro-choice).

But as it is...

And in some states, gay couples are legally prohibited from adopting. Not to mention private adoption groups deny gay couples from adopting.

Abortion isn't murder so you can rest easy.

Hate is NOT a 'family value.'
Feminism: the radical notion that women are human beings.

What's the root of the problem, in your opinion?

Hate is NOT a 'family value.'

PP does not only operate in the USA.
PP had over $1 Billion in "world wide" revenues.
In 2005, PP had "world wide" profits of $57 million.

With these kind of profits, these abortion clinics should be safer than a clothes hanger in an alley!

I wonder how many million$$$$ the CEO makes each year?
