You are confusing the noun "human" with the adjective "human". I know it requires some thought to distinguish betweem the two uses of the word, maybe you can do it if you concentrate.
Naa, if I were using it as a adjective, I'd say "ish". But as it relates to an embryo created by combining a human egg and sperm, it's human. It seems you are the one that has concentrated enough to convince your brain to wrap itself around the fallacy that it isn't.

Most people consider that the result is gonna have a BRAIN. They also know that the result isn't available for 9 months, and in the meantime....it's not A human [noun] but only "humanish" or to the educated "human" [adjective].

Nope still disagree. Most people know that a fetus starts at conception from a egg and a sperm and does not have a brain but is enclosed within the mother's body in the "natural habitat" of that stage of human life. It IS a human in early stages of development to any woman that wants to KEEP her child. But someone who is hellbent on abortion has to somehow rationalize in their mind that that developing human being is something else to try to mentally hide that FACT that anything gestating in a human female as the result of coitus is a human. It's just another phase of the human life cycle. Every single one of us cept the few that come from some science experiments, are the result of an egg and sperm meeting.

Exactly, OKgrannie. Roe v Wade established that a fetus is only a potential human being.

Quote:
It's "human" (adjective), but not A human (noun).
Correct again. A fetus has human DNA and the potential to develop into a human being if nothing goes wrong medically and the woman chooses to carry to term. That doesn't mean a fetus is a person during the first 24 weeks of pregnancy. It's not. It's not a viable human being when 99% of women have their abortions.

Hate is NOT a 'family value.'
Feminism: the radical notion that women are human beings.

A fetus doesn't start at conception. A fetus starts about 8 weeks after conception. "Developing" human being is not necessarily A human being, it's just a human being on the way.

A woman can find out at 4 weeks she is pregnant.

At 8 weeks, she can be told there is an embryonic sac with NOTHING IN IT.

Still human in your books?

That's semantics as it relates to abortion...and feticide laws for that matter.

I support abortion as a medical procedure to save a life or in the case of some debilitating diseases...I'm not strictly "pro-life". An empty embryonic sac or whatever that is is obviously not a human. And if the abortion is the result of finding out that information I might support it. But it seems that the body takes care of the situation referenced above on it's own, so this is yet another bullshit question which doesn't really relate to the vast number of abortions performed as contraception or convenience.

The bullshit kicked around here is as-fucking-tounding.

That's accuracy in language, there was no attempt to emotionally manipulate anyone by that vocabulary. If you want to be understood in a discussion, accuracy in language is important.

Who cares what you think? Your a man who has never been pregnant, cannot even allow a woman the right to decide for herself what is best for her own life, and you even admitted that your wife has a say so in "household" matters, like that was somehow progressive on your part. You don't accept that cult members abuse children and women, and you think women are asking for it when they get raped.
