That is enough for me to see that we still cannot definitively stamp a date on when a developing thing is considered as equal to a fully developed human. And that is how it should be.
Decisions by the Supreme Court don't automatically trump nature or God's Order.

After all the Supreme court also endorses capital punishment.

Just because SCOTUS voted for RvW doesn't mean that abortion isn't killing unborn babies.

And it is for each individual to decide whether or not they will accept whatever consequences might arise from their decision. Just like if you committed adultery or lied. And not all women believe in God and if they do, it is between them and their God. And SCOTUS didn't vote for Roe v. Wade, it found the Texas law against abortion to be unconstitutional, there is a difference.

Do you endorse euthanasia on the same basis?

Understand, what I meant was that SCOTUS voted to find abortion un-Constitutional.

Yes, I support a person's right to die if they are suffering from an incurable terminal illness, or a progressive disease.

garysher;

Decisions by the Supreme Court don't automatically trump nature or God's Order.

decisions by religious authorities don't either.

After all the Supreme court also endorses capital punishment.

so do some religions.

Just because SCOTUS voted for RvW doesn't mean that abortion isn't killing unborn babies.

nor does it mean it is.

the legislators who make laws and the legal professionals who interpret and implement them are human. you cannot define something as right because it is legal and wrong because it is not legal.

this might have been the point you were trying to make, garysher, but remember it cuts both ways.

the scribes who wrote religious doctrine and the priests who interpret it are human. you cannot define something as right because a religious text claims it to be and wrong because it does not.

As if we need religion to tell us that.
Just think, if religion hadn't told us "thou shalt not murder" we all be running around killing each other like ants. Cause that's just how stupid humans are without religion. NOT!!!

But he did. Hot dragon quoted it ("God's order"). Not everyone believes in "God" and "God" has no say in American law.

Perhaps it's time to find another place for a fetus to gestate (other than inside the body of a woman who doesn't want to be pregnant).

If there were a way to remove the fetus alive, that would be preferable. However a woman has a right to choose whether or not she gestates. It's about bodily sovereignty. I can't feed off someone else's body against their will. A fetus shouldn't be allowed to either.

Hate is NOT a 'family value.'
Feminism: the radical notion that women are human beings.

Another load of unconvincing weasel words to avoid facing the fact that abortion is killing an unborn baby.

That is not your problem gary. It is killing a potential child. That isn't weaselly, it's the facts. And that is between a woman and her God if she believes in one, or her own conscience.
