Stop
Let's stop arguing senselessly about abortion. It's legal if you don't like that then get over it. Stop debating about the morals because it is ulitimately up to the choice and therefore the morals of the INDIVIDUAL. I came across something in one of these threads about toenails being human. What the fuck. Let's talk about something else.
But it don't take much to get me by

Well, pro-life people feel that abortion is murder. From that perpective, allowing others to murder is heinous. I don't come from that direction, but I understand the validity of debate. If we don't talk about it, then we might miss something important.

I sort of phased out since the conversation was moving too fast for me. Still, you don't like, you don't post in it. Everyone wins.

Yeah I know, I'm just saying that we don't need to get into this ridiculous arguments that eventually involve the strangest logic and weirdest comparisons.
Furthermore, what you just said applies beautifully. If you don't agree with abortions, don't get them. Get over the fact that the law provides a choice and that other people do not find it morally wrong. Active and vocal pro-lifers are doing nothing besides trying to get everyone to think that abortion is morally wrong. More importantly, over-population is an extreme environmental concern and children come at great economic costs. Abortion is helpful and useful. Just as I can easily not read and not participate in abortion debates here, pro-lifers can just as easily get over it and shut up.

I'll be more than happy to say, "Pro-Abortionists need to get over it. If you want to murder your baby, go to Mexico to do it."

Let's just hope people don't tell you to "go to church in mexico" in the future.
--- help me Instant Runoff Voting, you're my only hope ---

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

Keep praying buddy because it's not going to happen. The Court will not just overturn Roe because there is more of a conservative swing now. The justices went through hell on abortion issues to get on the Court and somebody needs to provide an overacrching legal argument to overturn Court precedent on privacy rights which date back many decades now. I believe Roberts has also said that he is big on precedent and that is the hardest thing to overturn in the Supreme Court. It is a major endeavor which requires strict scrutiny.
