If you make abortion illegal, it will be a repeat of what happened during the acholol ban. People were smuggling acholol when they can and it begain a new kind of crime.

If you make it illegal woman will be in the streets with coathangers like they use to. Which will indanger their lives.

So the real question is who should have the choice? the state or the woman?

There is no way the courts will over-rule Roe vs. Wade because of the fact that about half the population believes that it is the choice of a woman.

I think everyone is intitled to their opinion on this issue. But the only way abortion is going to be viewed as a unmoral act is if you change the hearts of people, not by the law.

One person's beliefs should not be forced on anothers.
HOOYAH, well put... Ultimately it does not matter whether it is illegal or not, because the final choice still lies with the woman. If she wants an abortion she will have one.

exactly! and if remains legal, you will be saving their lives and be able to also provide other alternatives to the women at the clinic. Having it legal is the safer, smarter choice that many conservatives do not see because of their blindness with their personal opinion which they think is right for everyone but it is defiantly not the case.
Progress this great heresy of decay

The thing I hate most about issues like abortion is that conservatives always use these issues as a smoke screen when they want attention away from other issues (like war, the economy or whatever).

Abortion will always remain legal in the usa.

What I hate is when people bring up religion. If you are religious, I think that is great, and you should take that into consideration when YOU make YOUR decision, but you should not try to force your religion or religious beliefs on me...

I rarely see conservatives trying to go off-topic when they are in a debate. Maybe it's just where i'm from, but every liberal I have debated with, they go off topic when I get em good.

I'm not talking about personal debate. I'm talking about the use of media to distract from other issues.

Inject debate about a completely unrelated issue via media. abortion, gay rights, michael jackson or whatever. We are controlled by the centralized media system.

Go For It.

As far as mum and baby in birthing process, this is so RARE= non existant
that when it does happen, it's not a matter of Abortion, it's a matter of preserving Life.
