FACTS do not dictate morality.
A fetus cannot feel pain up until XX point in the pregnancy.
A fetus does not have a heart-beat up until the YY stage in the pregnancy.
A fetus has _____ at ZZ stage in the pregnancy.

Those are facts, but WHAT THEY MEAN and the CONCLUSIONS DRAWN from those facts are not "facts".
Suppose a person declares that he approves of abortion up until the fetus can feel pain.
Is he declaring a "fact", or his "opinion"?

I clicked on it in an attempt to figure out if rationale discourse was possible, but in looking at the web-site, I realize quite completely that it just plain IS NOT with somebody who actually thinks this way...

From his article:

It goes on to compare statistics which are largely in place due to the historic baby boom and people's decisions to not have as many babies in today's society.

But what does the article attempt to do? It attempts to claim that our nation is "dying" because our population is not GROWING as it has in the past...

That (amongst other things) and that our generational statistics have dramatically shifted inbetween 1980 and 2020 (BECAUSE OF THE BABY BOOM)...

Oh yeah. We are "dying" because our GROWTH RATE (note, it's STILL a growth rate) is not as big as it was in prior years.
And oh yeah. "Overpopulation is largely a hoax"...

And one other thing? The vast majority of the article DOES NOT EVEN TRY to blame this situation on "abortion". In fact, the vast majority of the article DOES NOT EVEN TRY to invoke "abortion" at all.

Except for a few statements at the end, a couple of which boggle the mind. It demonstrates PRECISELY the type of inane lack of logic which puts me off these discussions.

If a fetus is not alive until the fetal heart-beat, and I support abortion up until the fetal heart-beat, doesn't that mean I do not support "murder"?

A heartbeat can be detected now at 6 weeks or earlier. It gets earlier all the time as our tecnology increases. Just because we can detect it at 6 weeks does not mean this is not a human being. You are still murdering a human being if you abort. You are playing God with a Human life. Yes, you support murder.
