Yes, I think that's the gist of it. She always said God gave her the children she was supposed to have (she had 5). Unfortunately, if you hold that belief, God also gave children to people who shouldn't even own a houseplant I always remember a line from the movie Parenthood - I think it Keanu Reeves character that said it. It was something to the effect of "you need a license to drive a car but any idiot can have a child". Probably not the exact quote but you get the idea. There are definitely some people who should not be allowed to "breed". Unfortunately, the ones to suffer are the children.

It's people who IRRESPONSIBLY have sex that shouldn't be having sex. Use to be only MARRIED people had sex. Those who broke those rules were called IMMORAL. Still are in my opinion.

This ("History of Abortion") should convince everyone that abortion is morally wrong. However, people who give their convenience priority over what is morally right will continue to do that which is morally wrong. Even if they were convinced that abortion is wrong, and it certainly IS, they will continue to promote, practice and protect their right to murder the unborn.

As you will see in the website posted above, it was also "legal" in Nazi Germany to kill whomever they wished.

If America is not stopped soon, we will become like Nazi Germany. Is that what you want?

I dare you to watch it! It should settle the argument once and for all whether or not a "fetus" is a blob or a real live baby.

This isn't accusatory, but I just noticed the "scary" look of that page you gave us the link to. Let me make clear what I've always said about the abortion argument. It's a noble cause, but not always advocated by noble people.

There are two camps: the pro-life camp, which tries to convince using logic and sometimes emotion, but never tries to coerce or frighten people, and the anti-abortion camp, which uses graphic images and strong words to justify their position. Don't be an anti-abortionist, and don't show anything overtly biased. If I see one more picture of an aborted fetus I'm gonna find where you live and personally throw up on your nicest throw rugs.

You know buddy, I understand your offense at pictures of aborted babies.

I just wish you were MORE offended by the fact that they are aborted babies, rather than that the pictures of them are offensive.


There will very, very likely come a wonderful life-altering moment in your life - when your wife gives birth to your first child, and you hold that new-born in y our arms. I will promise you that you'll never, ever look at life the same again. Don't deny yourself that awesome experience.

Oh please! Abortion is one of the ways people do take responsibility for not producing an unwanted child with all the baggage that carries.

The point in the whole abortion debate that anti's never seem to want to address is why it is OK for them to decide the only correct way to believe-and then to impose it on all others!

You have a right to believe whatever you want,whether it flies in the face of biological or sociological facts or even if it involves frank superstitions. But everyone else has exactly the same right to decide for themself.

If it were really about responsibility and the well being of children, the effort would be focused on providing for the real ones, not the potential ones. and for realistic programs to prevent as many unwanted births as possible.

And you have the right to hop in the sack with anybody you want. But if you're not careful enough, or smart enough, to not get pregnant - don't kill an innocent baby as a punishment for YOUR lack of responsibility.

There is no such thing as an "aborted baby" since no baby is involved in an abortion.

Of course, occasionally a little child is when some poor 10 or eleven or twelve year old victim is in need of one due to being molested.
