How do you guys feel about that?? Just my stance..
I am a die-hard liberal on most issues.
But I am in agreement with your point of view.
I sincerely *do* believe if the Morning After pill were more readily available, the number of ALL abortions would be cut by 2/3.
Even young women too stupid to know about protecting themselves with either the pill or instance on condoms would be willing to take that pill the next morning.

I say instead of treating symtoms, we should attack the cause of the problem. Which of corse is sexual impurity.

The cause of the problem?

I thought the problem was abortions ... the cause of abortions is unwanted pregnancies.

I'm not interested in forcing people to live their lives according to my standards.

by the way - sexual impurity? Do you have any idea the number of abortions performed on married, monogamous, committed women - for any variety of reasons from birth control failure to rapes? Why are these women "sexually impure?"

I should add - I don't believe there is any such thing as being sexually impure. You can be a sexual criminal - such a rapist or child molester, etc. But adults engaging in sexual encounters with other consenting adults are simply living their lives as they choose.

And they should have the damn Morning After pill available to them.

In most cases the cause of the problem is that the woman has no support system in place to carry her and a new life through the challenges they face.

The problem is that it is easy to hold up a sign in front of a building, it is easy to pray for a fetus, but while churches are taking up collections for bigger buidlings, cutting edge sound systems, expensive vacations, ummm... I mean short-term missions trips, they are not overall putting their money where their mouth is to truly help those in need that are facing pregnancy alone.

Saying: They will never care how much you know, til they know how much you care.

And it is a grievous thing that the church would have to come to be the charitable assistance to a woman with an unborn child, where is the man who shared in the act that resulted in conception?

Most often, he is out of the picture or he might be the willing transportation to take the woman to the abortion clinic...

This goes beyond the scope of virginity or purity. This cuts right to the quick of the ones who are counted Biblically as infidels.

Caused by, sexual impurity (most times)

I'm not interested in forcing people to live their lives according to my standards.

Nor am I. But that doesnt mean we cant try to get people outta darkness.

No, I have no idea. However, to use abortion as birth control, is as evil as having pre marital sex. Maybe more so.

I should add - I don't believe there is any such thing as being sexually impure.

Well theres your trouble. I cant make you see things you dont want to see, but then what can light have to do with darkness?

You can be a sexual criminal - such a rapist or child molester, etc. But adults engaging in sexual encounters with other consenting adults are simply living their lives as they choose.

So now we should force pharmisists, to become abortionists as well? How many victoms will these unresponcible people bring down with them?

And they knew this before the decided to have pre marital sex. With anything else in life, your held responcible for your actions.

Oh Dear, I know you meant no harm in this statment, but I gotta stick up for my brothers and sisters who put themselfs in harms way in many countries around the world. I know many folks who fund there own trips to provide medical, and spirtual treatment to the poor and the helpless. All the while in fear that there host goverments dont find out what there doing, and face possible death (or worse). All Im saying is, thats a pretty big brush your painting with, and it isnt right.

I feel the same. Churches could do alot more to help mothers. But at the same time, there not responcible for unresponcible pregnancies.

where is the man who shared in the act that resulted in conception?

Your preaching to the quire now. Innocent blood is on his hands as well.

Worry about yourself!

Please leave judgment to God, O.K.!

I am not a human being having a spiritual experience, I am a spiritual being having a human experience.

The ancient Greeks used to say, "You shall know a man by the friends that he keeps." Given the nature of their friends and advisers, what are we to conclude about the Republican party:
Stop the madness before us it stops!
