it's NOT a person when it's aborted

NOTHING is a person which doesn't have an attached brain stem - it's that simple

we don't pass laws on what MIGHT be - we pass laws about things that ARE

You know...

If, as Trista claims, homosexuality is genetic - then the gene should be able to be detected in unborn babies.

Perhaps doctors should be testing pregnant women and telling them if their child is going to be gay. And if it is, give them the option of abortion. Because hey, abortion for any and every reason is perfectly justifiable.

Hey, I have no problems with that myself. By all means, test to see if your child is going to be a homosexual...

Thing is though most parents love their children unconditionally. That means IF said fetus is homosexual, the loving parent really isn't going to care about their child's sexual orientation in adulthood.

Of course, there's also this flip side...If someone like you were to find out your fetus was homosexual, I'm sure then you'd be the first putting your spouse in line to have an abortion. Then you'll use the argument 'which is the bigger sin'.

Be fun to watch.

Of course, if you did choose to not abort, you'd just be another one of those countless people who abandon their children into the care of another to hide 'your shame'...

And I'd probally be the one adopting your baby, encouraging him/her to be himself/herself and celebrating the diversity of life.
