That sounds pretty hateful to me. Love, appreciation and acceptance would have a heart to help, a hand to give whatever it can. And a respect for life that would find it difficult to discount any as mere "savages"!

Now I am new here, I know, and I would just as soon make friends with everyone here, but I just want to know Jefferson, "Who's doing the hating really?"

Thanks,
Oh Dear
Read, and quote, the whole context.

Unless and until you do that, don't be calling me a "hater".

Red face Missing in Action
Jefferson,
Last night I saw your reply post. And I set out to find the "complete post" that I apparently only quoted in part. Help out a newbie, if you will, I can't find your original post at all!

Would you, perhaps for being on this thread for a longer time, know right where it is, and quote in full. Please.

Then it will be more clear that you are no hater at all, yes?

If you read the whole of Page 1 of this thread, you'll see that there was a "running argument" with FoundIt66 - one of our local liberals who blames Bush for all the problems of the world, and was trying to say that some lady in Cameroon died because of Bush's foreign policy.

As usual, I had to call him on his ignorance...

Just another day at DefendingTheTruth.com.

Question 2cd verse same as the first
Yeah, I did see that, Jefferson. I caught all that...

I don't know why I did not see your post that I quoted yesterday. My mistake.

However, now how is it that your defense of President Bush should be counted as your not being a "hater" when you say that people in other countries, people in need are not our responsibility? Are savages? I believe to use the term "savage " you are discrediting their value.

And how is it that people are not our responsibility unless they are sitting in an oil-rich region on the planet?

Now Jefferson, "where is the love?"

I remember that one! It's a song from the 70s!

And by the way, I'm not here to "spread the love".

That is telling, yup, Roberta Flack. However as far as songs go, I rather prefer the one from only a few years back by the Black-eyed Peas.

YouTube - Black Eyed Peas - Where Is The Love

No, I certainly did not mistake your mission as one here to "spread the love" per your reminder:

Yeah, Roberta Flack. I couldn't remember the artist's name.

I hated that song, actually. Every stinking time I turned around, it was on the radio.

Kinda like going to McDonalds - all the time when your kids are little - because there's a PlayLand. It's been YEARS since I've been in McDonalds. In fact, I've had enough McDonalds for the rest of my life.

For me, McD's has redeemed itself with their Asian Salad.

Did you give a listen to the Youtube?

And I have no idea what you think you could say to educate these people to persuade them to your view-point.

I'm saying that the American people, as a whole, are uninformed and ignorant about most important issues.

If it ain't about XBox360, or about getting laid, they're not interested.
