And you accuse others of dishonesty.

You quote the antiquated version of the Hippocratic oath that talks about "pessaries". If you didn't realize that your version was outdated, that should have been your first clue.

Here is the modern version...

Hippocratic Oath—Modern Version

I swear to fulfill, to the best of my ability and judgment, this covenant:

I will respect the hard-won scientific gains of those physicians in whose steps I walk, and gladly share such knowledge as is mine with those who are to follow.

I will apply, for the benefit of the sick, all measures [that] are required, avoiding those twin traps of overtreatment and therapeutic nihilism.

I will remember that there is art to medicine as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon's knife or the chemist's drug.

I will not be ashamed to say "I know not," nor will I fail to call in my colleagues when the skills of another are needed for a patient's recovery.

I will respect the privacy of my patients, for their problems are not disclosed to me that the world may know. Most especially must I tread with care in matters of life and death. If it is given me to save a life, all thanks. But it may also be within my power to take a life; this awesome responsibility must be faced with great humbleness and awareness of my own frailty. Above all, I must not play at God.

I will remember that I do not treat a fever chart, a cancerous growth, but a sick human being, whose illness may affect the person's family and economic stability. My responsibility includes these related problems, if I am to care adequately for the sick.

I will prevent disease whenever I can, for prevention is preferable to cure.

I will remember that I remain a member of society, with special obligations to all my fellow human beings, those sound of mind and body as well as the infirm.

If I do not violate this oath, may I enjoy life and art, respected while I live and remembered with affection thereafter. May I always act so as to preserve the finest traditions of my calling and may I long experience the joy of healing those who seek my help.

Written in 1964 by Louis Lasagna, Academic Dean of the School of Medicine at Tufts University, and used in many medical schools today.

Ahhh. The perfect neo-con response.
Attack the messenger, while saying nothing about the message itself.
Get proven wrong, so you get personal and ignore the argument...

Didn't read the article did you? In other words, typical liberal ignorance and BS.

The article - on WebMD - was "partially" bemoaning the fact that modern medicine has strayed so far from the age-old standard of the Hippocratic Oath.

But nevermind. You don't want to believe that, so I won't worry your pretty little head with stuff you don't want to know...

Yet another non-sequitur.
The point, disproving your claims, is that the current doctors ARE NOT violating their CURRENT oath.
Whether some web-site "bemoans" the fact that it has changed is irrelevant.

The fact that it HAS changed and your accusations that doctors are violating an oath they take against abortion IS A LIE.

Your lie.

Keep trying to change the subject.
I'll continue to bring it back to the fact that you lied...

And even from the modern oath:
Quote:
Above all, I must not play at God.
Nope, they're NOT playing God. They're NOT deciding to end the life of a pre-born baby. They're NOT deciding which life is worth saving and which is to be destroyed.

Nope. Huhh Uhh...

Do you ever get a tingling feeling in the back of your neck that you're saying something you should realize is stupid and contradictory with other statements of yours?
Or are you just oblivious...

To this, I refer you to YOUR OWN STATEMENTS regarding my "interpretations" of Christianity...
You're not a doctor.
Your pretense that "playing God" means that it's against abortion IS NOT how a lot of the doctors who take that oath understand it.

At least when I interpret Christianity, I can give multiple web-sites (with multiple Christians) stating the interpretation of Christianity.

You? You just take an oath you obviously know nothing about, and pretend you know what they are talking about when they say "playing God".
