You haven't been contesting our claims that people cannot change a belief simply by deciding to do so. So I think that we are all in agreement that people cannot simply will themselves to believe something if there is no evidence to support that belief.

So perhaps we are more in agreement than we think?

I never said it wasn't a choice to open your heart to someone. This has nothing to do with actually feeling love. It has to do with a choice you make when you decide someone is a nice person and would be someone you could be with. This choice happens long before you feel love. All the decisions you make about someone before love is present are also choices to be made. When love finally comes it is not your choice. The actual feeling of love is just that, a feeling.
