who's putting down anybody for their chosen profession?

I admire somebody who recognizes and adheres to his limitations

I guess you calling Jefferson a Refridgerator repair man was a compliment?

Gee not everyone can sew quilts all day.

Someone has to pick up the garbage, and plow the snow, and fix the cars and the slurpie machine a t 7-11. What are you going to do when you sewing machine needs repair.
Did you just register to give it to Tristan? I dn't think fridge repair guys are too bad. Make fun of him for being a mindless bigot.

no - it was neither compliment nor condemnation
it was an explanation why he refused to acknowledge any point of view but his own
though there is nothing wrong with being a refrigerator repair man, it's not a profession one learns at Yale or Princeton

(by the way, LOL, you do realize that I'm not defending myself - right? LOL one hardly needs an excuse to call jefferson names, considering what he calls others. Im' just playing along with you)

Oh so your saying that someone that chooses to fix refridgerators couldn't do something else because they aren't smart enough.

Don't think just because someone is behind the counter serving you coffee that he is adhering to his limitations, it just might be the guy that owns the franchise and the 6 others in the area. he's smart enought to know that sometimes he needs to pour a cup of coffee to keep the line moving and the customers coming back.

so why don't you step off your high horse
