however, there are all these anti-everything right wing religious extremists who refuse to allow schools to teach teenagers about these things - so the knowledge goes unheard.

This has NOTHING to do with religion.

It has to do simply with being responsible - and NOT killing babies to cover up your lack of responsibility.

Of coarse, if you don't want a baby, you shouldn't get pregnant; I agree. But we're talking about if the choice of abortion should be left open to mothers and in what circumstances. I don't encourage people to get abortions, in fact I would think of an idiot who ever did (if it wasn't necessary to the health of the mother). But I still think that moral decision should be left up to the mother.


You can't make an argument irrelevant to our debate (above) to substantiate the conclusions you made relevant to the debate. Almost equivalent to me making an argument for choice as proof that you hate kittens.

It is perfectly responsible to choose NOT to have a baby when one can neither feed it nor nurture it.

And what of women where pregnancy is forced on them?

Or women who are in danger from pregnancy?

So? What's your position on the 'morning after pill'? It is one of those 'keep from getting pregnant' methods being used that the pro-lifers are complaining about.
