This thread just goes to show that abortion is a matter of PERSONAL morality (the mother's). If you feel it is immoral you can simply abstain from having one. But it is important to keep it legal so people don't seek illegitimate and risky care. And so we can keep our crime rates low.

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

Hogwash.

This thread PROVES - beyond a shadow of a doubt - that there are people, such as yourself, who are so calloused against life and depraved of mind, that you can sit back and say killing babies is okay. And you can do it with a straight face.

And you do it with a straight face - while feverishly shoveling LOADS of diversionary BS. You do your best to call wars into the conversation, to argue about lowering crime, and use all other manner of irrelevant non sequitur games to take attention away from the FACT that abortion kills babies.

Abortion kills babies, and you don't care. That is a very said indictment against YOU. It is evidence of a completely myopic and egocentric worldview.

Now... when was the last time you ate a well-cooked human baby? Or is that just another of the statements you've made that you're now trying to run away from?

There will always be a segment of American society who believe they should have the right to tell others how to live their lives.

Personally, I believe it's some kind of warped attempt to improve their low esteem. Of course, it could just be arrogant, self-centered egotism.

Conservatism: Self-centered mean-spiritedness fueled by ignorance and misguided self-importance.

Bigotry is a social disease.

Legalized same-sex marriage almost certainly benefits those same-sex couples who choose to marry, as well as the children being raised in those homes. - David Blankenhorn is president of the New York-based Institute for American Values and the author of "The Future of Marriage."
