It's just another attempt to salve a seared conscience.
I'm pro-life, alright? I think that once a baby is conceived, it should be allowed the chance to survive. But that's the thing, no one's life is guaranteed.

No, it's not.

But nobody SHOULD be allowed to kill innocent people, merely for convenience sake.

Yes, but the problem is that it's not always for convenience sake.

To be honest, I'd rather have a baby I chose to conceive than one I conceived from a rape. And I'm not the only one.

Over 99% of all abortions are for no other reason than convenience. They're post-conception birth control.

If people are adult enough to get pregnant, they should be adult enough to deal with the result of pregnancy.

And just where do you get this 99% figure from?

what constitutes being convenient?
having a place to house a child? being capable of feeding a child? being mentally, emotionally and psychologically capable of rearing a child?

again - the only thing that seems to matter is the fetus grow into a baby - and then to hell with it.

I agree with tristanrobin's post in a way, because really convenience could mean different things.

I agree with that also. As I said, they have a CHANCE, beginning at conception, to live. Nobody can ask for more.
