I have noticed that it is mostly 'male' posters in this thread.

Such a cheek...it is none of their business what a woman decides to do or not do about her body and its functions, imo.

I wasn't talking about 'normal' people anyway (which for the purpose of this discussion we will presume that you are), I was really talking about the unwanted products of unfortunate sexual liaisons. e.g. rape.

Someone has suggested that people who do not wish a child to be the result of their lovemaking should use contraceptives. I am quite sure that they do, and if for some reason that did not prevent a pregnancy then no doubt a caring person would never consider an abortion.

I do not know the circumstances of your own loss, so cannot possibly be referring to you personally.
