There is probably a decent size republican minority that wishes this unfortunately. I wish I was kidding.
The minority number that openly admits this is what they want does not bother me nearly as much as the ones who want this and don't admit it.

I recently let a secretary go that used to smile and be as nice as can be to our black mailman, then call him a nigger after he left. She said they were animals, not even human. She is in her mid 60's and that generation seems terribly racist. Not to sound cruel but I can't wait till the lot of them are gone.

Oh, the secretary was a republican... that is what reminded me of it. That is not to say racism doesn't exist in the democratic party as well.

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

Overturning Roe is not about states' rights, it's about more than nine people getting to decide what laws should be passed.

Sterotypes about christians don't help. What is it that makes you think the Bible encourages the subjugation of women and minorities?

For themost part, Roe v Wade has been overturned. All that remains of the Roe v Wade decision is the central tenet that under the so-called right privacy, a women should choice about abortion. However, today, Webster, and then Casey has pretty much overturned the rest of Roe v Wade.

All too often we forget the the Roe v Wade decision also include the trimester rule. Under this the government was forbidden to regulate abortion during the first trimester, must show a state interested during the second trimester, and to protect the potential of life during the third trimester the government could restrict abortion altogether except to save the health and/or life of the mother.

The ninth amendment states that all powers not enumerated to the federal government are reserved to the states or the people. Why is it that the liberals fear the people so much???

Time and time again, I have seen nothing but disdain and pure hatred towards Christians, from many of the same people that say we conservatives are closed minded, talk about calling the kettle black. Just like any other group, Christians have their extremist, but we are judged by them rather than by our majority who are good-meaning, well- intentioned people. If that is the standard of judgement, then should we not judge all African-Americans by Louis Farrakhat and his views, or should we judge all Muslims by Osama bin Laden???? Because if this is the case, or at least it is the standard that you set, I sure would hate the world you live in. Unlike yours, I judge everyone I met by who they are as individual and determine whether or not I like them. Now I'll be the first admit, there are many people I don't like, but that is an issue between me and them.

I am a Christian, for the most part yes. Do I oppose abortion, yes. Is it because I am a Chrisian, in part, I have a respect for life. But working in the medical field, I have seen fetuses that were spontaneously aborted. I have had to dissect a 14 week old fetus for pathological exam. The image of the face and eyes looking at me. The little fingers and toes fully formed. I recall to this day vividly, disecting into the fetus and seeing a little heart with all four chambers, the start of the lungs being formed. The liver beginning to develop, and the cutting into the skull and the removing of the brain, with a cerebrum, a cerebullem, and a brain stem. That little fetus contained the beginnings of all the bodies organs, it looked just like a little doll. I have never been able to rid my mind of the vision. So with my Christianity, that vision leads to my hatred and disdain for abortion.

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles

In regards to abortion I don't think anyone fears the people. Even if abortion was put to a vote I am confident it would remain legal in America.

The fact that we even discuss the possibility of abortion being illegal shows how far we have to go as a society if we want to be remain world leaders in my opinion.
