Overturning Roe is not about states' rights, it's about more than nine people getting to decide what laws should be passed.

Sterotypes about christians don't help. What is it that makes you think the Bible encourages the subjugation of women and minorities?
Stereotypes? They openly don't think that a woman should be allowed to decide over their own bodies!! It is sick man!
Exactly, followers of the Christian Bible openly admit they subjegate women.

I seem to doubt that logic Tadpole.

what if it is your baby the lady is carrying, do you get a say if it gets to die or not?

I am anti-abortion because I feel this act is murder, life is not a mistake. Abortion and physician assisted suicide cheapen human life. Doctors are sworn to protect life, not end it... even a life. In the womb, the baby reacts to environmental stimuli and shares many of the physiological features that define human life. Furthermore, most mothers who had an abortion suffer a great deal of mental and/or physical anguish due to their "choice". Abortion is a "choice" that very few people can feel good about. Teach children to respect sex and the responsibility that accompanies it. It makes better sense to prevent teen and unplanned pregnancies by not taking part in actions that cause pregnancy.

Do you have outside evidence for this claim? I know you've said it before.

Sperm is alive and contains human DNA. Should we ban masturbation too? Of course not, it is as silly as banning abortion.

Abortion, by the way, isn't going anywhere anyway. As shown below the supreme court has had 38 chances to reverse roe vs wade but the precedent remains the same; abortion is here to stay.

--- help me Instant Runoff Voting, you're my only hope ---

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

Sperm does not have everything necessary to become a human being; a fetus does. By the way, did you know that Roe v. Wade overturned precedent? Justice Blackmun who wrote the majority opinion, claimed that the 14th amendment prohibited states from restricting abortion. However, at the time the amendment was drafted and ratified (1866 and 1868 respectively), 36 states had laws restricting abortion, and all of them remained in force. That's what I call making a ruling to fit personal convictions.
