Everything gives you cancer these days. Regardless, abortion is the act of killing an unborn baby. It's wrong no matter how you look at it. You are taking a life. The fact that pro-choicers want to be able to do whatever they want with their bodies is fine - do whatever you want - aslong as you don't go around hurting people and by having an abortion, you are a killer. No matter how bad the situation is - raped, unplanned pegnancy, health risks, contraception goes wrong or you just didn't use contaception - you still have to deal with the consequences - it's life - s!@# happens - you deal with it. Sometimes it's not always fair but you deal with it.

How do you kill an unborn baby. How is it wrong? It stops the baby from being born, better it die then when it's born. If you don't want to have that baby, then DON'T, have that sucker yanked out. It is wrong but hey if you want to do it, than that is thier choice. LET THEM DO IT. If they want to have sex all the friggin time, let them get aids and just don't let the baby live with such a irresponsiable person.

no... i just don't want the GOVERNMENT to dictate what i can and can't do with my own body. it MIGHT be killing... i don't really know. i wouldn't choose it, but then again a) i haven't been in a situation where i had to make that choice and b) i can't presume to tell someone what they should do in that situation.

Being in the medical field I will say this, more research is needed. I have to read these great journals with all the research they come out with, and I can tell you, if you ever need some good material to help you fall asleep, I have it. Right now, I know of some 35 studies that have been done on breast cancer. Of those 35, only 5 have stated that there is no link between abortion and breast cancer. Of the other 30, I know of only 4 that have begun with the hypothesis that Abortion is a risk factor in cancer. The others, have mentioned abortion as a risk factor, however, they did not have significant enough findings to state for certain that there is a direct link. Of these studies the risk factor associated with abortion has been as low as 20% and as high as 250%.

The one thing I can say about all of the studies is that they each have significant questionable findings, both those claiming a link and those claiming no link. The simple truth of the matter is that more study needs to be done, study that is not politically motivated. The reason I say this is that in reviewing some of the literature, one disturbing trend has been noted, there currently is a direct correlation between the increase in percentage of abortion and the increase in percentage of breast cancer. Now this may be caused by some other factor, including the increase in the use of birth control, however, as long as the trend remains, the question must be asked and studied. I find it truly reprehensible that the National Cancer Institute would say that their is no causal link, when at this time, that fact has not been proven nor disproven.

The earliest study regarding breast cancere dates to 1920. The earliest study showing a link between breast cancer and abortion dates to 1950. I am sorry, but the fact remains that the majority of the studies show a link, and this fact should and must be weighed in the current debate, until such time as someone can do an indepth study that allows for and answers peer review, is their truly something wrong with a medical provider informing a patient that their may be a link between the two?????

If there is and they do not say it, how long before we see one of those commericials on TV asking if you had an abortion and then later deen diagnosised with breast cancer and were not warned of the link by your doctor you may sue for damages??? You all know the ads I am talking about.

Conservatism, I repeat is not an ideology. It does not breed fanatics....But if you want men who seek, reasonably and prudently, to reconcile the best in wisdom of our ancestors with the change which is essential to a vigorous civil social existence, then you will do well to turn to conservative principles

If people think it is wrong for people to get abortions, then they should just not do it. If someone wants an abortion, then let 'em have it. It is thier life and if they want kill an unborn baby then let them. But when Judgement day comes and they are standing before God......they have some explaining to do!

There is no reason to prevent providers from informing clients that there may be a link.

Honestly, I doubt that this will make a difference to those that want abortions.

Actually, what I've heard is that many women - if given full information about abortions, and 24 hours to think about it - change their minds and decide not to abort.
