To say that abortion is a gender issue is completely bogus. The claim makes no sense. The abortion of a child not wanted by the female but wanted by the male could drastically effect the male. It would be like saying that women should have no say in the castration of male sex offenders.

No, you're NOT allowed to talk about the VAST majority of abortions that are nothing more than post-conception contraception. That's off limits. It's not politically correct.

Yet the interesting thing is that most women get abortions ON THEIR OWN. In fact a LARGE number of abortions happen because there is NO FATHER TO SUPPORT THE CHILD.

Likewise none of us have any figures on how many unwanted pregnancies are terminated simply because it is a CHILD that is pregnant. We also don't know how many women choose to have an abortion because their social and economic situation does not allow them to raise a child. How many would be forced to raise a child singlehandedly ( granted some do it, but not all feel up to the task).

While i agree that a father is AS IMPORTANT in RAISING a child, that really does not relate to whether a MAN has anything to say about whether a pregnancy should be terminated or not. It is the woman's body, she is the ONLY ONE who understand how shee feels and thinks, And she is the ONLY ONE CARRYING the fetus.

Men are there to SUPPORT ANY DECISION A WOMAN MAKES regarding a pregnancy ( she IS after all the authority on the matter). No more and NO LESS.

I could rant but I'm going to restrict it to this. IF you are so financially strapped that you can't afford to go to a FREE CLINIC THAT OFFERS FREE BIRTHCONTROL and FREE CONDOMS, then DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES HAVE SEX. And have we all forgotten that this is what welfare was set up for intially? Not to help lazy people who don't want to work, but rather to help families who direly need help.
