I can understand why Christians don't support abortion, and I commend them for it. I myself do not support abortion (with a few exceptions) however, I do not understand why so many Christians do not support the woman's right to choose.

I think it goes along with everyone has a right to live. If you have an abortion then you are ending someones life. That is forbidden in the bible, that is probably why christians condem that action.

well, if a woman gets rapped by a complete stranger she should have the right to a abortion. if she's getting rapped by a family member and that has happened more than once she should not have the right to a abortion.
if it's a medical condition that would endanger her life than maybe she should be alowed an abortion.

God said he knew us BEFORE we even got to the womb. So Jewish law doesnt really impress me much when it comes to this.

Personally, i think it should be illegal to get an abortion. 1.4 million abortions were performed in 2006 alone, what if those babies could be our next president? You are stopping innocent lifes from coming into the world, that is considered a crime against God.
