Alas, in this day kids have become a commodity. Too many people see kids as an inconvenience, and wait till they're almost 40 to have kids, BUT BUT then wonder why their kids are so o fften stillborn or have some sort of disorder. Hm, don't wait so long? Rape and Pillage the villages while you're young and virile.
Or better yet, just don't have kids at all...

Nah
kids are the world's worst STD if you think about attitudes towards them today. But I really would love to have like 40 children. Just not in this day and age. I mean, why not have a kid? You become a king, more or less. I'd let my wife change the diapers, but I'd be wiling to do everything else, maybe even breast-feed it once in a while.

Become a king? Not quite... 40 Kids would kill a good father. Unless of course you were not intending to be a good father...

I'm speaking hypothetically
not literally. I'd get a bunch of my concubines together, inseminate all of them, have my 40 kids, let them raise them until they're 6, then train them to be warriors and have a personal army. K? K. btw this is in ancient times.

Sorry
I was under the influence of an intense sugar high... iunno. i think having a kid would kick ass; I really can't wait till I have a kid.

Actually, I can wait...and then I'll have one and train him to run like a gazelle and hunt things or something. In all way he would be a bad-ass. Then I'd have a second son to whom I would bestow the knowledge of rugby. Having a daughter would suck cuz after she turns 14 I'd have to buy a shotgun for (her) protection.

Have you figured out yet that the HTML tags you are trying to use in your sig will not work? You have to use BB code. Replace the '<' with '[' and the '>' with ']' and you'll be golden...

OOP--I wonder if the Founding Fathers had fetus' rights in mind while they wrote the Constitution. I think interpretation of the Constitution is required when it comes to fetus' rights. An honest question: did they have abortion back then?

Axiom--What can clearly be discerned by the V and XIV Amendments are that no person(s)/human(s) life is taken without "Due Process". It doesn't matter if they were considering zygote, fetus, mentally handicapped, etc...when writing these two amendments. LIFE, Liberty, and Property of a person was their concern.

They didn't determine degrees of LIFE; stages of LIFE; or quality of the LIFE, only that LIFE was protected from being taken without "Due Process". They were very particular about these points, otherwise why write two seperate amendments protecting them?

But you said persons / humans... Many people (including myself) do not consider a fetus to be either... So that blasts your argument right out of the water...
