I do agree and I think schools need to do a better job at educating the young ones on how to be more responsible.

Partial birth abortion is just another method of abortion. It's an arbitrary medical line which is being drawn in order to whittle away at my rights to my own body.

Sometimes, women can't tell that they're pregnant, or are in denial, or are too afraid to get help until the second or third trimester. Then what?

I have to draw the line at partial birth abortion. Personally I don't think I could ever have an abortion (I happen to have a penis so I will never have to make that decision) but until you are actually faced with making that decision......

Just a question conspriter.... can you get an abortion BEFORE the first trimester? I would think that before the first trimester you would not be pregnant yet, thus no need for an abortion. I am guessing you meant during the first trimester.

People keep on having sex without any protection and are surprised when they get pregnant? Does anyone really want these people raising children when they don't even know what birth control is?

Well, how can you expect people to know if no one ever teaches what birth control is? This is America, after all. There are plenty of places with "abstinence only" education.

At any rate, 'partial birth abortion' is only called that if the fetus is removed intact. Any laws against it don't ban D&E, which involves cutting the fetus into parts in later term abortions. The same procedure only requires a curette scrape for earlier term abortions.

True enough, but you can't deny there are some who really don't care whether they get pregnant or not. It's a topic that can go both ways no doubt. Quality of life or no life? Course on the other hand a abortion can stop a girl from dropping out of high school and continuing on to college where after graduating she could have many children who live good lives. I guess the best way to avoid it is better sex education. No two ways about that.
