I think that people who use abortion as a birth control method are a miniscule minority who have been inflated by social conservatives for political ends.

You know that 18-23 inch baby that exits the birth canal? Did it become a baby at that point--exiting the womb? <POOF!!> and there it was! What living things do we know comes into existence completely formed? That baby had a beginning when the sperm joined the egg and grew until such time it could survive outside the womb. When was our beginning? Think about it. We did not become a baby when we exited our mother's womb. Our beginning was when our father's sperm met our mother's egg. But for the grace of God our fate could have been the abortionist's trash can or incinerator. (Taking another human life is against the Father's will..whether you believe He exists or not)

using that definition, it would seem as if you would only be opposed to abortion after the organs begin to develop, which is after about 8 weeks I believe.
