let me just say somthing here, i am totaly pro- choice and belive that the father should have some imput, but ultimently the decision should be made by the mother, abortion should be legalized because choosing what a person should do with their own person is an unalienable right and no one should try to deny that right to choose. i am not trying to force my views, as what is right for some may not be right for others. however i do think that some people should stop trying to force their views on people that have absolutly nothing to do with them.

I agree with you Kelsey. No one has the right to tell me what I can and cannot do with my own body, and I really don't know why some people believe they have the right to control other people.

some people should learn to let other people live their own lives, cause that would make the world a much, MUCH better place. Not everyone has the same views, and thats o.k, people need to relize that and agree to disagree.

Umm.....so the 16-year-old who was too shy to ask her boyfriend to wear a condom is "selfish, scum underclass?" As are the people who make up the 1% failure rate of ALL birth control? The woman who accidentally skipped a day on her pills? All "selfish, scum underclass" to you?

Wow.

Only if the fetus is gestating inside his body. Otherwise, no. He has no right to control someone else's body or their medical decisions.

So you really think only "underclass" people get abortions?

But you want the woman to have the right to control her babies' body - to the extent of killing it?

But the father is half responsible if the woman decides to have it. So should he be absolved of all responsibility if he doesn't want to have it and she does? Assuming they are not married, of course. And if they are married, it's a no brainer that it should be a joint decision IMO.

It's a fetus, Gary. And yes, she has a right to control the fetus while it's still inside her uterus. A woman's uterus isn't the property of the courts. The pregnant woman owns her uterus and may legally control what resides in it.
