I usually never have the tv on during the day, unless AMC has a great old movie on. But, I have a friend staying here until she's back on her feet who 'has' to have the television on. Thank God for my Ipod!

It was not attempted murder, and he should not be looking at 22 years for this. And also, any of the white kids that were involved in violence there, should be charged as well. You have white kids punching blacks, and nothing happens. So it is really about equal protection under the law. And a 3 day in school suspension is not a severe enough punishment for white kids using the symbolism of lynching to cause fear and to antagonise the black kids. The school is 85% white already. |

I am sure you'd think differently if you were a victim.
BTW, Mychel Bell violated his parole and the DA believes he was the instigator in the attack. He was on parole for 4 prior offenses, 2 of the assault.... He was not released today. CNN.com - Breaking News, U.S., World, Weather, Entertainment & Video News |

Level up: 57%, 94 Points needed | | Anyone remember a few years ago a young black girl claimed to have been sexually abused by some white cops? Sharpton and Jackson jumped on that like it was going out of style, then you find out she made it all up.
Did they ever apologize? My guess is, No.
IMO, both of them are media whores who jump on any bandwagon they think will get their names in the papers.
You know who you don't hear much from anymore? Louis Farakahn. I wonder why? |

You have to think, though, that maybe race relations would be a little farther along if you didn't have people like Sharpton and Jackson around to stir things up and make everything about race. |
