Here's one for you: I live not far from one of the largest Jewish population cities in America: Skokie, Illinois. Not long ago, I had a meeting there with a business friend, and we stopped for lunch at a delicatessen owned by an elderly gentleman. As we paid for our food; I noticed a number tatooed across his wrist. I don't know how you could percieve a sight like that as other than a visual reminder of hatred. If you accept this as okay, you are always going to be on the outside looking in. It's not okay. Try to think of what that man and any family he may have had when he recieved that tatoo went through then. Truthfully, I don't even want to try-it would probably make me toss my cookies that any human could reason treating other human (or humans) in that manner.

What is TRUTH, DavidHenry? Is it what YOU want believe? Example: if it was something you didn't want to believe, would you have posted it? Say, the report said, "Actually, sixTEEN million were killed." Would you have posted that? Or did you post what you found because it fits well with what you WISH to believe?

I want to know, What difference does it make? 6 million, 6 thousand, or 6 hundred. What's the population of your town? Where I live the population is 6000. What if all those people were murdered tomorrow? What if a city of 60,000 were killed in a mudslide? Which is worse, do you think? I think 6000 people murdered is worse than 60,000 killed in mudslide. Why? Because the 6000 were deliberately, methodically murdered for no other reason than they happened to be born of a different race or ethnicity.

It sounds like you're saying: "Well, Hitler wasn't really as evil as the world portrayed him (or Stalin or Pol Pot). After all, he ONLY murdered half as many as they said he did". 270 000 is tiny % of the total pop of Jews, so I can't equate that to genocide....he certainly targeted them, but the thing that's got me curious is that we all accept that x amount of Jews were targeted/imprisoned, but as yet, not a single person on this forum is angry or amazed at the actual number of dead, ie, 270k vs 6 MILLION.....WHAT A WHOPPER SWEETCHEEKS.....your place or mine
