You know I read that back in the 1960's you could get a good job, with a 2 year degree making around 20,000 a year. That was when the average wage was $2.65 and hour. Not bad at that time. this is probably going to make somebody ticked off . But one of the reasons businesses wanted it stopped.

They were paying big bucks for people with degrees who could not do the work. It seems they had to lower standards to get people in college and help them out by lowering standards so they could graduate.

One of the side problems, They had to allow everybody in to college, then the job market was flooded with degrees. People started finding out they had to push and get a Masters degree just to get and edge in the market. Some people found they were over qualified and could not get certain jobs.

They are trying to cut back, and push for merit not just equality. Frankly, anybody should have a chance for improvement, but let the best one win. Why, not?

People, I think we are all smart enough to know that this person who says we blacks should "kill all white people" is a extremist in the worst sense of the word.
It is time to stop giving platform to such people, and star embracing the idea that we are all going to have to live together in our society. It would be better if we should start accepting each other's skin pigmentations- there are obviously many who-even on this forum- cannot make this leap. I still can't get why this is so hard to understand. As far as AA goes; I think it was a good idea when first implemented for the country to try to close the "Racial Divide" (as I call it). I think that divide has closed enough to start concentrating it on need instead of other factors. This country has come a long way from the days of obvious racial discrimination. It's time for many Blacks to stop screaming "racism" at every setback in life, and start standing on their own two feet. We can have anything in life we desire; if we are just willing to make the effort. It's time for many Whites to stop blaming Blacks for every bad thing in America. In other words, it's time for peaceful co-existence!

a number of reality incidents is wrong, and as long as

One can argue the inital creation of the slavery system, but the long term slavery and segregation of people of color is not something that can be justified by either African tradition or Native American Tradition. This fallacy belongs to the settlers and their decendants.

I do agree with P.P. in that this finger pointing has got to stop! Both Black and White have made bad errors over the years; and still do. But, wasting time on placing blame (for anything) is pointless- and useless. Blacks must accept the fact that there will be Whites on this earth for as long as we will be here; and Whites must accept the same fact about Blacks. I understand that past history is a great teacher; but in the stock market we say that it is no guarantee of future performance. I would suggest you both look forward, and focus your thoughts in fixing the problems of today so that these problems do not affect our futures! We could all find lists of things to blame on each other- as Blacks and Whites, and even individuals in general. To what end? I believe in trying to solve; not in wasting time on trying to blame. Orginial Slaver? Anyways slavery is alive and well in most workplaces.
Sure people are making nice money by the week, but they are busting
