I'm very proud of all of you! If it wasn't for you, DtT would have never reached that mark.
Thank you! I'm very excited |

We submitted ours over eight months ago, and they still haven't reviewed our submission. |

Well, mine meets that criteria anyway, regardless of whether they bother to list me, but frankly I couldn't care less if they do or not. It's not as if it's going to bring you masses of traffic. Better to focus on where you appear in Google & Yahoo. I've done that as well as can be expected, but since my board has no specific "theme" to it, there's not really anything people would search for to find us, apart from possibly arcades, and we already do well on that.
Search engines are king, if you have a topic to search for. But only worry about Google, Yahoo, MSN and *possibly* Alta Vista. Nobody really uses any others. |

Level up: 18%, 97 Points needed | | Furthermore, as regards THIS site, simply keep doing what you're doing. I'm not 100% convinced by vBSEO, and it certainly wouldn't help my site, but it seems to work on some sites, so stick with it.
The other thing you've got is the nice speedy server. Many site owners end up with slow sites and don't realise how much it puts people off. I think you get about five seconds max and if your page hasn't loaded people go somewhere else.
That's why I was getting so angry about our previous hosts, I kept telling them it was "killing" the site, and if I'd left it any longer it would have done. People drift away. |

The change to WireNine seemed to have an impact on the web site. Member registrations/activity rose with the new high speed connections. I used to get very aggravated when I couldn't even access my own web site.. |
