If a drug dealer lived next door, would you help police to get them arrested and jailed?
Probably ....however, you won't do the same to help police catch illegal aliens because these people are your neighbors. You go to Church with them.

There was an article in our local paper, by the Goshen News. It stated that we needed to treat our neighbors and fellow church members*I am assuming he is talking about illegal aliens and not drug dealers, with the Golden Rule.
If you know someone is breaking the law......and you ignore it, I suggest you keep your mouth shut about Americans breaking the law, don't you? According to statistics that they have right now, which isn't much, illegal aliens get caught and released 7 times before they actually go to jail or get deported. Think an American citizen gets 7 chances before he/she goes to jail?
Mark my words....in a very short time, you are going to see White, Black, Brown, Yellow, you name it, AMERICANS, suing the U.S. Government for Discrimination. Now, before you swallow your tongue on that one, think about it. 7 arrests and releases ON AVERAGE before an illegal alien goes to jail or is deported. An American citizen sting in Florida this week, and I am not kidding here, netted one of our Citizens feeding 5 more homeless people in the park than was allowed! Hello?? He fed 30 homeless people instead of the allotted 25. They took the police manpower to catch a man feeding the homeless and starving people of their city!!
But, illegal aliens situation is apples and oranges. It is a lost cause according to our Government. If you. my Government, is going to disregard its own laws, why should I or anyone else obey the law? Everybody else picks and chooses what laws to follow and which ones to ignore. Heaven knows our Representatives in Washington seem to be ignoring all bribery and corruption laws. Why should I have to be the only one being good around here? It is showing its unfairness already. But, until it starts hitting people(and the Govt.) on what they care about(money, mostly) this will continue. However, when the american people sue the Government for Discrimination against its own citizens.......and can PROVE it, that will be an actual start on this problem. Btw, all it would take is some actual statistics to make a case against the Govt. Let them screw themselves with their own actual paperwork.lol
Are you starting to get mad yet? I am. And yes, I am mad at my neighbors too. Instead of Americans watching out for each other, they are watching out for the illegal family across the street. (and won't they feel stupid when they find out the family had stolen a bunch of American identities and screwed yet MORE American citizens.)
I have no doubt that the vast majority of illegal aliens just want a better life for their families. But, does that give them the right to take the opportunities away from me and MY family? If people stayed in their homeland and worked as hard as they do here, including marching and protesting, their homeland might be considered good enough to stay in. Might not feel you HAVE to break our laws to feed your families.
Well guess what? The same could be said of the drug dealer down the street. Think they want a better life for THEIR kids? Doesn't make any more sense to let the nice illegal alien family down the street get away with breaking our laws than it does to let the American drug dealer continue breaking our laws. It is not apples and oranges here!
So, next time you need the police, do me a favor and don't bother calling them if you are set on protecting your illegal alien friends from your Church or your neighborhood. Cause if you need the police, but are actively working against them doing their job, you certainly don't deserve their protection, do you?

Check out this site and see if you can still debate that our neighbors, the illegal aliens, should ALL be getting Amnesty in the country whose laws they have spit on.
Go ahead and tell me that these people that broke into our Country deserve the same rights and priveleges as those that waited in line, did the paperwork, and everything else to immigrate to this Country LEGALLY!!
If you can't tell me that they deserve everything we have and everything that the legal immigrant has worked so hard for, then you need to start doing what is RIGHT....and not what is expedient. That means our Government too.
So, if it takes millions of Americans calling ICE or the Police to shame them in to doing their jobs, so be it.
Like I said all along.........soon you will see white John Doe American suing the U.S. Government for Discrimination and winning. It is coming, people. Maybe that is the only way we have to force our Government into doing its job. Hit it in its pocketbook. What a sad situation for our so-called Christian Country.


p.s.Wonder how fast millions of people would deport themselves.......if they had NO chance of becoming a legal American Citizen, if caught and here illegally?
You would see a wave of migration back to Mexico the likes of which you have never seen before. Ah, I know, a fantasy......but a good one. lol

For the record... I likely would not help the police get the drug dealer or the immigrants... I'm not a cop, they can do their own job, and what my neighbor does is his business... As long as they are not harming me... I don't see why I should be involved.

Also, I'm not going over to that house and demanding to see their immigration records! That's not my business. Those in this neighborhood are good neighbors, clean and polite. There may be more in the house than other families around, but who would take it upon themselves to go grill their neighbors about their immigration status?

I must have been speaking in spanish, if you coulden't understand what I said. No one is even suggesting that you go over to your neighbors house and grill him. And as far as doing what is called your civic duty(as a Marine, I know you have heard of that.) Then, fine. Don't call the cops when you need them either. That is what Jury Duty is about. It is what Civilian guards and neighborhood watch and keeping at least your immediate area safe for your kids. And your neighbors kids. is all about. Do you really want to have kids and live next door to a drug dealer? No sweat, Bud, but you can have THAT neighborhood.

Please check out Immigrations Human Cost, then tell me how it is ok to harbor any fugitive from your OWN police dept.) Even nice neighbors, illegal or otherwise can drink and drive. If you watch it and do nothing, when you can, is it partially your fault when he hits another car, kills a family or two? Hope that family wasn't yours.
Ii was raised Quaker. Completely anti-violence. But the Quakers were one of the first groups to have a written and followed rule of law. Helping your neighbor. Before you call me a hypocrite too.lol, They believed in Courts and justice for all. Quakers even had female ministers before other denominations. I feel bad that some of these people are just here working hard. Only law they broke was getting in. But, they bring over their sister's kid.....who happens to be in a gang. Who joins up and adds to the crime problems in your neighborhood. Like the ripples in water, the more people the more bad possibilities. Just because you can't see the future, doesn't mean others can't.
Guess the point I am trying to make is......apparently only American Citizens have to obey our laws. Illegal aliens are given chance after chance. Bet we are getting a bit tired of um, yeah um, without getting kissed, don't you think?

Why do we have immigration laws that are at best selectively enforced, at worst not enforced at all? It's basically a mockery to even suggest there is an immigration law. There is little to no enforcement and often when there is enforcement the media attempts to tell the human side of the law breakers and makes us all feel a little guilty about having such a law or suggesting that it be enforced.

What's the alternative? Either change the law or enforce it.

As to individuals reporting to police suspected illegal immigrants - sounds a little 'police state' to me. Besides, until they all come into the country with a big ILLEGAL branded on their forehead I wouldn't be able to tell a citizen from a tourist.

I didn't say that, then they'd be harming the civil liberties of another, and I'd put an end to it. But Drug Dealers and Illegal Immigrants are not harming or infringing upon anyone elses civil liberties.

You're example is also loaded... It would not matter if the rapist was a drug dealer or not, a rapist is a rapist...

Why would it matter who they lost a loved one too? This is a red herring... Seriously, is it better to lose a loved one to an American than to an Immigrant? There's no difference...
