The real free Cuban health care for Cubans

Check out what the real free health care for Cubans is like. At the resorts, and places where tourists get to visit, they can have expensive health care with the best equipment, but the real Cuban people get this. The wonderful equipment manufactured right there is sold to other countries, and you don't see it here in the real Cuban hospitals.

You might as well be ready with the truth before Michael Moore's polemic hits the streets... therealcuba.com is an eyeopener in every sense of the word.

To be quite honest, I don't take Michael Moore very seriously.
I alway do have to question the motives on a link like that. I think including their mission statement, to get an idea of what side of the fence they are coming from, always helps convince people of the site's accuracy and content.
As for Cuba in general, I will say, the one positive thing, I know is that no one starves there.

On face value, it looks awful, but then the website has an anti-castro agenda. Not to say I would accept an official cuban government web site either. The web is filled with biased sites and it takes time to filter out the political rhetoric from facts.

"American Association for World Health has determined that the U.S. embargo of Cuba has dramatically harmed the health and nutrition of large numbers of ordinary Cuban citizens."

Impact of the U.S Embargo on Health and Nutrition in Cuba

This could be viewed as political rhetoric as well.....

Judging from that link, I'd have to say that the embargo definitely plays a negative role in the healthcare area. I don't know much about Cuba, though, but I can tell you I don't like Castro simply because he's so politically repressive.

I am not a fan of Castro either, but then the US had a role in making him the way he is.
