| Political Correctness hinders progress YouTube - Calling South Africa part 2 A very good call out against Mugabe in Zimbabwe which shows the hypocrisy of believing Apartheid was the worst thing that went on in Africa and that "white rule" had ruined Africans. Mugabe's Genocide continues as well. It's not just whites but all "undesireables". Remember that word? Or does it only apply when Germans want to kill Jews? | I should get my Uncle in on this debate. He used to work for the United Nations in Europe, and his role was helping poor farmers in Africa. I know that that might not be related, but I think he knows quite a lot about what's going on over there.. | |

| Well I see that as directly related because land issues are a big problem. Land is a great resource and can generate wealth but not if improperly used or over burdened as it is in most of Africa. Africa already has poor un-developed soils compared to say Europe or the US//Canadian mid-west region. So it's very problematic that uneducated subsitence farmers by the millions rape the land. When educated (usually by UN people such as your uncle) the more productive farms usually attract problems due to the increase of wealth. There's problems everywhere from getting products to the market and distribution down to cultivating the land. But it comes down to mainly - the largest problem - the black leaders who were not interested or knew nothing of agriculture, they only wanted the land for themselves. They didn't care what happened to it. "The biggest failure of Democracy in Africa is that unsophisticated, illiterate, uninformed and easily influenced citizens can replace those that fully sustain them with others that fully impoverish them." -- Unknown | |||||||||||||||||||||
