My slow decline has begun...
I am already down to a mere 26% of all posts according to the statistics... It seems the glory days of the tadpole are in decline...

I will be back though... mark my words, I'll be on top once more!

There is little doubt that the world in general is more liberal than it was 50 years ago and beyond. Conservatives are simply roadblocks on the path to an ever more progressive and liberal world. What a sad existence.

26% of all posts? Geez, if that's a decline, what did that number look like in the glory days?

Once this year ends I am seriously thinking about joining the army. College is fine and all but I just see so much more out there. I am sick of seeing my dad working like a dog to provide for our family. I have not completely made up my mind but everyday all I do is get more and more pist off and all I want to do is fight these terrorist fucks. I helped get us into this war by voting Bush in, the least I can do is back it up by joining to try to stop it. I don't know I am just confused.
Godbless, Tadpole.

Though I did not support the Iraq war, I thought about joining the military earlier this year in order to help stabilize Iraq. But I couldn't get it out of my head that if a different nation went to war with America, overthrew our president, and installed a dictatorship, I would like to be part of the resistance.

I had thoughts about joining the military as well. My grandfather was in WWII and my great grandfather was in WWI. I have many friends who serve in the military and I know a lot of older people who used to serve in the mililtary. They all seem to have similar thoughts about their service in the military. They always try to talk me into enlisting because of the great experience they had with the military.

Jaxian I see what you are trying to get at with the second part of your post. I would surely hope another nation would go to war with us, overthrow our President, and set up a democracy if we were a nation based on something similar to Saddam's rule. Are the Iraqis happy that Saddam is out of power? Yes. Is Al Qaeda happy that we are spreading a democracy over in Iraq? Hell no (that's their weekness). I bet if you lived in Iraq under the dictatorship of Saddam Hussein, you would be grateful that America toppled his empire.

Consider joining the Red Cross, or another Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that is providing aid overthere. You could also consider trying to get a position with USAID, the United States Agency for International Development.
